The RCSI Institute of Leadership is currently accepting applications for the following Masters Programmes:
MSc Quality & Safety in Healthcare Management: This programme has been designed to develop the ability to debate the drivers and barriers for a quality and safe healthcare system. It will give participants the opportunity to use quality improvement tools and interventions that are specific to quality, safety and risk in healthcare. The programme will provide healthcare professionals with the skills to evaluate core concepts around patient safety, quality, accreditation and governance. Participants will be expected to explore their leadership skills in leading a change project based on sound research evidence.
MSc Healthcare Management: This programme has been designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice. It facilitates participants to gain core management knowledge and leadership skills that can be applied immediately in their work places and via a change project.
MSc Leadership: This programme has been designed to significantly increase participants' leadership capability so that they can function with increased competence and maximise their impact and influence. Given the challenges confronting modern organisations, leadership is emerging as the single most important element in determining which will succeed and which will fail. Leadership qualities determine not only the success of organisations but also the nature of career trajectories.
Applications are invited from all those working in the healthcare sector including pharmacists, nurses, doctors, managers, other clinical specialists and administrators who wish to develop and extend their knowledge and skills in these important healthcare fields.
