Your Wellbeing

It is important for pharmacists to maintain their own well-being and mental health. The nature of a pharmacist’s work can be emotionally demanding, and pharmacists can experience burnout and mental health challenges. Your health and wellbeing are key to supporting the quality and safety of patient care.

The IIOP Resource Hub contains a dedicated Mental Health & Wellbeing Resources for Pharmacists section. This section includes information on and links to various supports, including:

  • IIOP Wellbeing Webinars
  • IIOP Mentoring Programme for Pharmacists
  • Silver Cloud – Mental Health & Wellbeing programmes
  • Practitioner Health Matters programme
  • Bereavement Support Line: Call 1800 80 70 77
  • MyMind Counselling
  • Samaritans: Call 116 123
