Summary:
In this webinar, Frank Bourke gives an overview of AI and its potential to enhance pharmacy practice. He discusses AI's core components, applications, as well as generative AI's capabilities and use cases. He then goes on to compare non-generative AI with generative AI and their capabilities. Frank focuses on the use of chat GPT, a generative AI Large Language Model (LLM), which can be used to generate lists and summaries of other creative tasks. He also emphasises some challenges and potential risks of its use, stressing the importance of becoming aware of the risks involved with the use of generative AI.
Frank highlights the ethical considerations surrounding AI's integration into daily life and discusses the prevalence of AI and its potential to enhance pharmacy practice. He also discusses various pharmacy-specific applications being developed worldwide
