Mouth Cancer Awareness Day, Wednesday 16 September 2015

VENUE: Dublin Dental University Hospital - Small Lecture Theatre

To learn more about mouth cancer, the signs, symptoms and the risk factors, the Dublin Dental University Hospital will host an Information Day on Wednesday 16 September 2015.

There will be a series of short PUBLIC lectures in the Dublin Dental University Hospital on the topic of mouth cancer (Please PTO for further information) More than 300 cases of cancer of the mouth (oral cavity and pharynx) are reported in Ireland every year. Early detection of mouth cancer greatly improves chance of survival.

You are encouraged to ask your dentist to check for signs of mouth cancer as part of your regular dental check-up during the year.

General Dental Practitioners around the country and the Cork Dental Hospital will also be participating by providing information on Mouth Cancer Awareness Day 2015 .
