Dr Catriona Bradley

Executive Director IIOP
Catriona graduated from Trinity College in 1998, and obtained her PhD in 2009. She worked for Boots for 14 years, and held various positions across the areas of pharmacy, education, research and HR before being appointed as Pharmacy Director and Superintendent for Ireland. She has completed diplomas in Quality Improvement, Legal Studies and Coaching, and is a qualified executive and personal coach. She’s passionate about supporting and enabling pharmacists (and consequently the pharmacy profession) to realise their full potential.

Sarah Chambers

Operations Director
Sarah is the Operations Director for the Irish Institute of Pharmacy. She studied pharmacy in TCD, graduating with a Masters in Pharmacy from RCSI in 2013. Her background is in community pharmacy, before she joined the team in the IIOP in 2018. She has diplomas in Management of Operations, Coaching and is an accredited Mentoring Programme Manager. She leads the team in the IIOP in delivering the CPD system, supporting pharmacists in their continuing professional development and facilitating peer support within the profession.

Sonya Saenz Saralegui

Operations Coordinator
Sonya has been working in the IIOP since May 2014. Prior to that, she worked as a Pharmacy Technician for Boots and Pharmasource. Sonya manages the Institute’s Finance system, training programme annual reviews and provides administrative support to the IIOP Team.

Alicia O' Dwyer

CPD Quality Assurance Pharmacist
Alicia is a CPD Quality Assurance Pharmacist for the Irish Institute of Pharmacy. She studied pharmacy in RCSI, and then completed the National Pharmacy Internship Programme, graduating with a Masters in Pharmacy in 2010. Alicia spent time working in both community pharmacy and hospital pharmacy, before joining the IIOP in 2018. Alicia’s primary role in the IIOP involves managing the ePortfolio Review process. She has also worked on a range of other IIOP projects such as the accreditation of training programmes.

Ailbhe O'Mahoney

CPD Quality Assurance Pharmacist
Ailbhe is a CPD Quality Assurance Pharmacist with the Irish Institute of Pharmacy. She studied pharmacy in RCSI, and then completed the National Pharmacy Internship Programme, graduating with a Masters in Pharmacy. She then worked as a community pharmacist before joining the IIOP in 2020. Ailbhe’s primary role in the IIOP involves managing the Practice Review process. She has also worked on a range of other IIOP projects such as the procurement of training programmes and developing the PAMS-Net Forum discussion page.

Dawn Davin

CPD Quality Assurance Pharmacist
Dawn graduated from Trinity College as a pharmacist in 2002, and obtained an MSc in Hospital Pharmacy in 2005. She worked for Tallaght University Hospital for nearly 21 years specialising in Nephrology. She worked in the National Renal Office as the National Renal Pharmacist for two years before moving to the HPRA. She completed an Independent Prescribers course for Pharmacists at Queen’s University, Belfast. She has trained in project management in quality improvement methodology and most recently completed a diploma in Clinical Leadership from RCSI. Dawn works on a range of IIOP projects with a particular focus on CPD provision including the management of the “In Conversation with…” webinar series as well as the procurement and accreditation of training programmes.

Áine Barrett

CPD Quality Assurance Pharmacist
Aine has been working in the IIOP since September 2020 as a CPD Quality Assurance Pharmacist. Aine works on a range of IIOP projects, including the procurement and accreditation of training programmes.

Audrey Cunningham

Operations Co-Ordinator
Audrey has been working in the IIOP since March 2020. She has a background as a pharmacy technician and in hospital administration in Dublin. She has also worked in clinical administration for a large audiology and hearing healthcare provider in Brisbane, Australia. She supports a range of projects in the IIOP including the webinar series, the IIOP newsletter and the support helpdesk.

Grace Furlong

Operations Coordinator
Grace has worked with the IIOP since February 2023 as an Operations Coordinator. Prior to that, she worked as an App & Website designer. Grace coordinates the "In Conversation with..." webinar series for IIOP, manages recent registrations, and provides administrative support to the IIOP Team.

Frank Bourke

Learning Technologist
Frank is the IIOP’s learning technologist. He has worked for the IIOP since February 2015 and looks after the online systems. This includes the Learner Management System (My Courses), the ePortfolio system (including ePortfolio Review) and related training supports. Frank works closely with the institute’s course providers to ensure quality and timely courseware delivery. Frank is also an online learning instructional designer, software developer and software tester.
