Webinar overview:

This webinar will be delivered by members of the Irish Medicines in Pregnancy Service (IMPS) at the Rotunda Hospital. The webinar will explore the principles of safe and evidence-based medicines use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Key areas will include undertaking a risk-benefit evaluation, the importance of balancing maternal benefit and fetal/neonatal risk, interpretation of available evidence, principles of risk communication and how to support informed and shared decisions in clinical practice. Key resources and reliable information sources to support evidence-based decision-making will also be outlined.
