Join us for an engaging webinar exploring how cultural sensitivity and intersectional factors influence women's health experiences in Ireland.
Rachel Kenna will discuss the work of the Women's Health Taskforce and the important role of policy in women's health. She will highlight how the Department of Health and HSE are adopting culturally responsive and community-based approaches to improve health equity for diverse groups.
Peggy Maguire will bring an international perspective on how culture influences access to women's healthcare.
Dr. Salome Mbugua will share lived experiences of migrant women, highlighting barriers to accessing healthcare services and specific health issues affecting these women such as Female Genital Mutilation.
