Nominations for each of the nine Helix Health Pharmacist Awards categories were made by pharmacists and members of the public earlier in the year. An adjudicating panel comprised of respected pharmacists from various branches of the profession selected three finalists and a winner in each category.

The IIOP has been nominated for the Pharmacist-led Team Award. This award is made to a pharmacist-led team that demonstrates a “collaborative, creative and innovative, team-based initiative that resulted in health benefit locally or nationally”.

Commenting on the nomination, Dr. Catriona Bradley, executive director of the IIOP said, “We are honoured to have been nominated for this award. The team at the IIOP are deeply committed to the development of the pharmacy profession and it is fantastic to have the team recognised.”

The winner will be announced at the Helix Health Pharmacist Awards ceremony on Saturday 21 November 2015 in the Mansion House, Dublin 2.
