Mental Health Workshops

We are delighted to announce that the "Supporting Mental Health in Pharmacy Practice" face to face workshops will be held nationwide in Autumn 2017, dates and venues are listed below.

The aim of this practical workshop is to help pharmacists to apply the learning gained from the online training programme through discussion, reflection and practical activities.

Before you attend one of these workshops you must the first complete the MCQ for Lesson 1, Lesson 2, Lesson 3 & Lesson 4 of the online training programme. 

Once you have completed the required MCQ's you will be provided with an enrollment key which will allow you book select and book a date of your choice. 

At the end of this workshop the pharmacist will be able to:

  • Identify solutions and approaches to given scenarios relating to dealing with patients with Mental Health issues and medicines management.
  • Formulate a plan to initiate changes within their own practice having reflected on their own role in relation to the management of, and interaction with, patients with Mental Health issues.
