Summary:

Catriona Campbell discusses various aspects of leading teams during the COVID-19 pandemic. She emphasises the importance of engagement, trust, accountability, and psychological safety within teams. She also explores the PERMA model of psychological well-being and the value of reflection and learning from the crisis. Catriona touches on the challenges of uncertainty and vulnerability and offers advice on navigating these aspects as a leader. Additionally, she highlights the importance of listening, providing support, and prioritising the team's well-being.

Catriona discusses the use of personality assessment tools such as Myers-Briggs and DISC behavioural styles. While they agree that these tools can be helpful in raising awareness of different preferences and behaviours, they caution against categorising individuals and stress the importance of using the tools for awareness-raising purposes. The webinar concludes with resources for further exploration and a reminder of the impact leaders can have on their teams' feelings.
